311 John Adams Street

This hip-on-gable roof residence also has a front gabled porch and shed roof box bay on the front elevation. A frieze lies under the roof line. The porch roof gable intersects the boxed soffit on hip roof eave. The porch has an octagonal window facing the street and a screen front door facing north. The shed roof bay appears to be an addition. The northwest and southwest sides of the house appear to have additions as well. Both have hip roofs. On the northwest side there are window hoods. The southwest addition has a further shed roof addition and shed porch extended from that. The house has two chimneys. Large fir trees stand in the NE and SE corner of the yard and on the west wide.

This property is located within the McLoughlin Conservation District but is not a locally designated historic site. Contact ocplanning@orcity.org for more information.
