This project refurbished artwork lining the walls of the unique Municipal Elevator by using holographic photography to foster appreciation for the rich history of Oregon City.
Blighted Conditions:
- Historic paintings lining the inside of the municipal elevator were badly damaged and no longer comprehensible, poorly representing the historical importance of Oregon City
Improvements:
- Digitally archived historic paintings before removing them from the Elevator
- Installed holographic historic photographs that illustrate the stories of Oregon City's past

- Elevator ridership has increased 45% since 2008 when the artwork was renovated, now at over 210,000 people a year
- The Oregon City Municipal Elevator continues to be an important tourist attraction and historic landmark for the City
