809 Madison Street

The vernacular house at 809 Madison Street was built c.1899. The rectangular volume is front gabled, with a shed roofed portion, possibly an early addition, on the side (northeast). The 1920s front porch has a hipped roof and slender chamfered posts. Windows are 1/1 double-hung. Exterior cladding is channel drop siding. An exterior chimney on the house's southwest side was rebuilt with concrete block A garage lies off the west corner. Its siding consists of large wood shingles.
