McLoughlin Blvd) RUBY SPENCER HUBER HOUSE c.1917 -- Statement of Significance: The Spencer family purchased the land in this area in 1882; they also purchased the house next door (902 S. McLoughlin Blvd.) at the same time. Ross Spencer was a laborer in Canemah in 1882, and was 46 years old; his wife's name was Belle, and they had a daughter, age 2. The house has been severely altered, and little architectural significance remains. The house is significant for its age.
