2021 Housing Needs Analysis
Oregon City adopted its Housing Needs Analysis (HNA) in December 2021. The HNA includes maps, housing data, and forecasts on demographic and socioeconomic trends to understand how much housing will be needed in the future and if we have enough available land to accommodate the community’s needs.

Housing Choices Code Update (House Bill 2001)
House Bill 2001 aims to provide Oregonians with more housing choices, especially housing choices more people can afford. The law, passed by the 2019 Oregon Legislature, expands the ability of property owners to build certain traditional housing types, like duplexes and tri-plexes, in residential zones.

McLoughlin-Canemah Trail Plan
The McLoughlin to Canemah Trail (MCT) is a planned shared-use path that will link the Canemah Bluff Natural Area to the McLoughlin Promenade. The trail will be approximately one mile in length and will pass through a mix of intense urban uses, quiet neighborhoods, and serene natural spaces.
