Memorial Day Commemoration Service

Mark your calendars for the Memorial Day Annual Commemoration Service at Mountain View Cemetery.

Please join us for this special day of remembering and honoring those we have lost. We will be serving light refreshments upon commencement of the service.

National Day of Remembrance

Mountain View Cemetery is home to the beautiful Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) Memorial Wall. September 25th is a National Day set aside to remembers the tragic loss our country suffers from murder in the United States.

Upcoming Cemetery Events

The annual clean-ups are a great opportunity to get involved and give back to the community. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity in your community? Mountain View Cemetery hosts two annual cleanup events a year - Spring and Fall. The Spring Cleanup is typically held in May and the Fall Cleanup in November. Volunteers meet at the Cemetery at 9 am and work alongside the maintenance crew until noon. Volunteers help with spreading bark dust, planting seasonal flowers, raking leaves or debris pick-up - projects vary with seasons.
