718 Spring Street

This house sits under a side gable roof, with a large rectangular bay on the north side that is covered by a second gable. The east side of this gable is bellcast over the recessed entry porch near the northeast corner of the house. The house is clad with narrow beveled lap siding above the full water table, and the foundation is skirted with vertical tongue and groove boards. A pair of rectangular bays project out from the house under shed roofs on the west façade. The windows are primarily double-hung wood sash with divided upper sashes, but the windows in the extreme southwest bay have been replaced with vinyl double-hung sashes. The windows typically feature board trim with decorative edge molding and narrow projecting sills.

This property is located within the McLoughlin Conservation District but is not a locally designated historic site. Contact ocplanning@orcity.org for more information.
