JOHN AND EMMA WILKERSON RESIDENCE c.1913 -- Statement of Significance: John Wilkerson worked in the Oregon City Woolen Milles. His wife, Emma, taught Sunday school in Canemah. The Wilkersons owned several pieces of property in Canemah and in Oregon City, which is where Mrs. Wilkerson moved (1207 Main Street) around 1910. The house is a typical Oregon City vernacular structure, and although it has little architectural significance, it contributes to the overall integrity of the Canemah National Register Historic District.
