Long-Range Planning Projects
In addition to processing applications for development, the Planning Division is responsible for assisting the Planning Commission, City Commission and other city departments in long range planning and the code, policies and plans that affect the entire city or large portions of it. This includes "legislative" updates to the zoning code, zoning map, and comprehensive plan to stay current with city, county, state and federal requirements. Here are some examples of completed projects we have worked on:
