Library by Mail

Homebound? On extended bedrest? Recuperating from surgery? If you are no longer able to get to the library and would like your library holds mailed to your home, you can apply for our Library By Mail service. We will review your application and give you a call to discuss the details. Once approved, every two weeks your available holds will be checked out and mailed to you in a black canvas bag along with a postage-paid return label and instructions for returning the items.

This free service helps homebound residents receive and return library materials through the mail. Applicants must be eligible for a LINCC library card and have a mailing address in the Oregon City Public Library service area. InterLibrary Loans, Book Bundles, and Library of Things items are not included in this mailing service.

Please note, that enrolling in Library by Mail services means that all eligible materials you put on hold will be mailed to you and no longer available for pick-up at the Library. Exceptions will not be made. You may cancel the Library by Mail enrollment at any time.
