Public Comments

The City Commission provides a time at each regular meeting for citizen comments. Each citizen is allowed 3 minutes to speak on (1) any item not on the agenda during the public comment section of the agenda or (2) on specific items on the agenda during the discussion of that item. Please fill out a citizen comment card upon arrival and provide it to the City Recorder. The mayor or chair will call your name when your time has arrived.

Written public comments are accepted at any time. Please submit any written comments to the Office of the City Recorder before 3:00 PM the day of the meeting. Comments submitted after that time may not be received in time to be seen by the City Commissioners.

Public testimony for land use public hearings and appeals are subject to additional rules. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of the City Recorder or the Planning Department.
