Oregon City Parks Master Plan
Oregon City is currently underway with the development of a new Parks Master Plan with PROS Consulting INC. The City's last master plan was conducted in 2008. With this new Parks Master Plan, our goal is to address the City's parks and recreation facilities, programs, staffing, funding, landscape management, and priority needs for the next 20 years, with a focus on a 10-year implementation timeframe.

Veterans Memorial Plaza Renovation
Over a century of history lies in the memorial area which speaks to the importance of preserving and maintaining the memorial plaza, while ensuring it is a safe, usable space for the entire Community for the next century.

Park Place environmental heritage & Trails Project - Trail is Currently Closed
A new short walking and interpretive trail is being added to the existing forest at Park Place Park! This walking trail includes interpretive signage detailing significant trees and assemblages that were of importance to pioneers, settlement, and the environment. The project is being constructed by the Rivers of Life Center, in partnership with the Park Place Neighborhood Association and Oregon City Parks. This project is funded by a Metro Enhancement Grant that was awarded to the Park Place Neighborhood Association for the 2023-2024 grant cycle.

Clackamette Park Master Plan
The City of Oregon City is embarking on the development of a new master plan for Clackamette Park. The 25-acre park has served the region and Oregon City Residents for decades offering green spaces, woodlands, trails, river access and a variety of amenities.
