Current Project Information

  • Wesley Lynn Park:  New fenced dog park.  Check back for updates.
  • Hillendale Park:  New restroom will be built to replace existing restroom.  Check back for updates.
  • Chapin Park:  New and improved playground.  Check back for updates.
  • Rivercrest Park:  New accessible pathways.  Check back for updates.
  • Park Place Park:  New park improvements coming.  Check back for opportunities to engage with the planning team.
  • ODOT I-205 Widening  Due to project work, Jon Storm has limited access with no immediate parking. This is a 5-year project, beginning in 2022 and expected to last until 2026.

Park Projects Completed

  • Park Place Environmental Heritage & Trail (Currently Closed) A new short walking and interpretive trail is is currently closed until further notice for additional vegetation removal and poison oak control.
  • Clackamette Park Master Plan The 25-acre park has served the region and Oregon City Residents for decades offering green spaces, woodlands, trails, river access and a variety of amenities. It’s time to think about the future of this wonderful amenity and cherished resource.
  • Oregon City Park's Master Plan  Oregon City is currently underway the development of a new Parks Master Plan with PROS Consulting INC.
  • The Veterans Memorial Renovation Project is complete.  Project included installation of military podiums, benches, signage, and resetting of the memorial wall and bronze plaques. Veterans Memorial Plaza Renovation
  • Sports field turf recondition of the infields has been completed on 4 fields in 2024.  This will be followed by a 3-year conditioning cycle. Sports Field Reconditioning  
  • Mountain View Cemetery Restroom Replacement: A beautiful new public ADA restroom is complete and surrounded by new tree, shrubbery and groundcover plantings.  Projected completed fall of 2023.
  • Mountain View Cemetery paving and slurry seal completed summer of 2023.
  • Clackamette Park RV Dump Station rolled out a new automated pay station which was completed summer of 2023.
  • Water Environmental Services (WES) Good Neighbor Project Cove/River Access: Trail restoration, invasive species removal, and tree cleanup completed in early 2023.
  • Wesley Lynn Park Turf Installation on Ballfield 2: Oregon City Youth Sports utilized METRO Grant funds to help fund the project. The project completed end of 2022.
  • Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum Roof Replacement: Completed end of 2022.
  • Hazel Grove Park: New park development grand opening in May of 2022.  Hazel Grove Park
  • DC Latourette Park: Park revitalization completed in June of 2021.  DC Latourette Park
