Residents within the service area of the Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) consortium are eligible for a free library card.
Patrons outside Clackamas County pay an annual fee of $95 to get a library card. The $95 fee is waived for residents of these counties: Multnomah, Washington, Clark, Skamania, Klickitat, City of Camas (WA), Hood River, Woodland, and Yale (WA).
Requirements:
- Complete and submit a library card application at any LINCC Library. At the Oregon City location, applications are received and cards are issued at the Lobby Desk. Educator cards can be obtained at the Children's Desk.
- Bring a Photo ID, such as a government-issued identification and something that shows your current address (piece of mail addressed to you, or a lease or sales agreement for your home, etc.)
- The co-signature of legal guardian is required for children under 13. The co-signer will also provide the identification and address verification needed. For questions about children's library cards visit our Kids' Cards FAQ.
