All Businesses and Individuals that are conducting business inside the City Limits of Oregon City are required by Municipal Code, Title 5, Chapter 5.04, to obtain an Oregon City Business License before doing business.

Urban Renewal
Oregon City has one urban renewal area, the Downtown/Northend URA. The URA includes Downtown Oregon City, Singer Hill Road and High Street in the Historic McLoughlin area, the area around The Cove and Abernathy Road to Highway 213.
