The Behavioral Health Unit is comprised of one Behavioral Health Specialist and one Behavioral Health Case Manager. This unit serves as a resource for the department personnel when working with individuals that are experiencing a mental health crisis. The BHU also assists individuals and their families by connecting appropriate services to reduce future law enforcement interventions and divert individuals from jail whenever possible.
