We offer storytimes, Art Labs, and LEGO Labs, as well as ongoing and special monthly events for kids, teens, and families. Use the tabs to the right to learn more about events for a specific age group, or view the current event calendar to see everything that's happening at the library this month.

Youth Summer Reading
Children who read regularly during the summer months are more likely to maintain their reading skills while not in school, and do not have to spend the first weeks of the new school year recovering from the skills regression known as the "summer slide."

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
The Oregon City Public Library is excited to announce a new program to help young children develop critical early literacy skills and become lifelong readers. Our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program, kicking off in January 2022, will help give parents, caregivers, and kids the tools and support they need to create young readers.

Young Teen Advisory Committee
The Oregon City Public Library’s Young Teen Advisory Committee (YTAC) is composed of 10 members in grades 6-8 who live or attend school in the Oregon City Public Library Service Area.
