  2. November Creative Kits

    Get crafty with one of our monthly Handmade Creative Kits. We've got something for everyone! You can request multiple kits when registering. Select the number from the drop down menu before clicking Begin Registration. Registration opens first Monday of the month. Stop by the Carnegie Technology Center desk for pick up. Kits are available for pick up as soon as you register. All kits must be picked up at the Oregon City Library by end of month. Library card is required. Don't have a card?     Booth at cultural events grant Diwali festival located at Pioneer Center across the street, event is 11-3 and staff setup/breakdown puts the event at 10:30-3:30

  4. Native American Basket Weaving

    Join Celeste Whitewolf, a fiber artist and enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Umatilla for a workshop on Native American Pine Needle Basket Weaving. Using natural materials that she collects, Whitewolf makes baskets for traditional uses, like picking huckleberries, as well as for handbags. This is a 4 hour workshop with an hour lunch break (food not provided). Basket weaving materials provided.
